Company? I thought those doing soundsets were freelancers?

I think it is best that those who were in the know, just keep their mouth shut still, as "disclosures" now is only gonna create bad feelings.

I mean, Apple is practially giving away Alchemy v2.0 for free with Mainstage, there is a lot of pissed off Alchemy Windows users out there.

We now have an additional 4 FX sends, so the main out as before +4 slots with 1 FX module each, the FX sends and filter routings are hard-wired choices per source.

What's your problem, let everybody say what he has to say.

i'm still on logic 9 also. not sure i can afford 'x' at the moment, but i might be tempted to get mainstage in the meantime (as long as it's the full version)

So you knew last year that Windows users buying into Alchemy would be left stranded?
I'm sure he just meant he knew about this feature.
Why keep it such a closely guarded secret that Camel Audio was working on implemeting spectral morphing into Alchemy?
Sometimes companies just don't like to talk about upcoming features because it creates bad feelings among the user base if the features are late or even cancelled.

What kind of planet do you live on then?

Probably the hottest debated topic on KVR so far this year has been Camel Audio/Alchemy closure: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 1&t=429204

I feel sorry for any Windows user who bought into Camel Audio products last December, in good faith.

Oh you don't want to open up that can of worms, Simon. :clown:

Yes.

There's also "simple" and "advanced" mode. Simple removes everything except the lower 1/3rd (morph pad, quick controls, x/y pads)

You wrote earlier you were happy to see it available somewhere.

Now you are telling people to shut their mouth.

I so no reason to censor someone especially when you don't even know what they were aware of. Why presume anything?

I agree with Amused that he was probably just referencing the Spectral Morph feature. What's more to get mad at?

I've signed and abide by NDA agreements before and now and its the same thing. The fine print usually very well laid out that it would be stupid to say something before it becomes public knowledge.

PSA: Don't forget to visit the "Download Additional Content" menu command after upgrading. There's 15GB of Alchemy content that is NOT installed by default, and the app does not tell you about it. (Maybe it does for new installs?)

No I did not. I was just as surprised as you. But I know the spectral morphing feature since waaaay back when I was in an A2 beta for Camel Audio. The spectral morphing feature has been great ever since, it still is. I did not know anything else.

The Whambulance number is 110 around here. I suppose that discussion is over now, at least on my little planet - it has been going on for 9 months, enough is enough, now we have a new Alchemy in LogicX and everybody can use it.

If you don't want anybody to presume something, don't imply anything either.

I'm happy that it is available, but you gotta realize that there is a lot of Windows users who feel shortchanged right now.
