Could someone help me please? My soon has a problem with the license V9r27 waves. Every time he starts the application Cakewalk Sonar 8.5, the program says "skip" or "re-scan licenses" and can not locate the license file.
Could someone tell us how and where to save the file on win 7 (x64 - x86).
Thank you in advance.

Hi! These messages usually mean that your DAW (Sonar) is initializing Waves which are not seeing the licenses. I have the same when I forget to insert my USB license key.
I don't know if you are experienced with WLC (Waves License Center). You need to use it, and here is some tutorial.
Use it to deploy your licenses either to your computer hardware, or to a USB key (has to be FAT32 formatted). Personally I prefer the latter for mobility/compatibility issues.
After deploying, starting your DAW will initiate Waves plugins that will search for a license, and they should find a license deployed by WLC.
I hope if this helped
