Which VST's need delay compensation in Sonar?

When setting up VST's in Sonar's VST adaptor, are there plugs that are known to need the delay compensation box checked manually? I think SIR does, anyone know of others?

"Who knows what delays lurk in the hearts of vst's? The adapter knows!"
Thanks!! I'll check if it works with SIR. The lates build (1.08) seems broken in Sonar 3.1 PE

so whats wrong with sonar's delay compensation then? or indeed its audio engine?

There will probably be no response to this as it is a completely indefensible position. I really don't mean to "get into it" with you ttoz but...Pathetic audio engine? What a load of %@^&#%^#. Back it up! I'm listening.ttoz wrote:what happens? if it's dropouts and looping problems, it's Sonar's pathetic audio engine and "ahem" *cough* delay compensation...not sirphilipc68 wrote:"Who knows what delays lurk in the hearts of vst's? If the delay compensation isn't working with SIR make sure your latency in Sonar is greater than SIR's latency. I don't quite get this but plug-ins with long delays don't seem to get compensated for unless your latency is really high.
I'm sorry this post wasn't about techno.

Well, I tried SIR 1.08 again and it seems to be working now. Before, I was getting dropouts instantly upon pressing play - this only happened with 1.08, ot 1.05. Possibly the problem was fixed by the recent adapter update that I just installed.
