'Cinematic Series Vol 1: Experimental Electronica' kicks off this brand new series of high quality professional Construction Kit products aimed squarely at trailer and soundtrack composers, sound designers and producers looking to add a slick, Cinematic vibe to their productions. Inspired by the ground-breaking OSTs of cult classics such as "Drive" and "Kill Bill", this Volume focuses on dark, broody Sci-Fi ambiences, underpinned by deep & powerful pulses and pads to give you a truly ethereal sound with a sense of underlying tension.
Smooth sub bass, street ambiences (recorded in South Korea), wide lush FX, glitch drums, pianos, electric guitars and so much more, it's all here in five professional Construction Kits complete with MIDI, mixed full-length stems and looping files.
The Producer:
Lhasa Mencur is a composer and sound designer for interactive/visual media with a particular passion for games and virtual environments.
Creative Process:
"For this pack I wanted to draw on a variety of approaches to designing sound, capturing live instrumentation from electric guitars to custom percussion for raw organic musicality, extensive digital synthesis and audio manipulation (hand-crafted glitches, granular processing and experimental warping techniques) combined with elements from my latest field recordings in some of East Asia's most dense metropolises to create a complex, richly textured and futuristic audio palette.
With these, I then looked to compose a set of Kits that aesthetically captured the dark emotions and moral ambiguity of modern Cinematic soundtracks, and were driven by this, rather than being limited to any single musical genre. To this end I hope there’s a unique versatility in the resulting sounds and textures." - Lhasa Mencur.
MIDI Files Included:
Like so many other Producer Loops products, 'Cinematic Series Vol 1: Experimental Electronica' includes MIDI files for the majority of musical phrases heard in each Kit, allowing you to seamlessly mix your favourite synths and samplers with the sounds contained in the pack.
Advantages of MIDI:
While the supplied ACID/Apple Loops are extremely flexible and powerful, MIDI has the added benefit of allowing you to go to extremes of pitch and tempo beyond which the loops were originally recorded, with no time stretching or pitch shifting artefacts. Furthermore, you can make tweaks to the riffs so they fit perfectly into your existing mixes.
Mixed Stems:
In addition to more conventional loops, this product features fully mixed, full length track stems allowing you to quickly re-build the demo arrangement. From here you can chop, edit and mangle the samples however you like.
Royalty-Free:
All of the loops in this product are 100% Royalty-Free (including the vocal loops), so once purchased, you can use these loops in your commercial releases without having to pay any hidden costs.
Specifications:
• 5 Construction Kits
• 117 Individual Audio Files
• Pads, Pulses, Drums, FX & More
• ACIDized WAV Files
• Apple Loops/AIFF Files
• Loops sync to BPM
• 44.1 kHz/24-Bit
• PC/Mac Compatible
• Royalty-Free (No Exceptions)
