Finally got a chance to demo it. I knew it would sound great, but I didn't expect it to sound that PHENOMENAL !
The tone is just right to my ears, and the harmonics. It sounds rich without being overdone.
Can't wait to hear what you can do with that level of modeling on new BASS amps and new pedals.
Well done IK !!!
PS : I'd like to see IK bring Ampeg SVX mkII with that level of quality.

Thank you for your kind words, and we were considering modeling this, with its 36x10 cabinet:kj.metissage wrote: PS : I'd like to see IK bring Ampeg SVX mkII with that level of quality.

I was able to check it out today, a friend already bought it...and hell, am I going to buy this when there's money left...
The Rectos are fantastic, the cabs too...but what I couldn't stop playing with was the Transatlantic. Took me by surprise. Especially with P90 guitars...wow!
Congratulations IK - you nailed it. The only things missing now - for me - are a EV12L loaded 4x12 and something comparable to the DigiTech TurboFlange.

A word of warning, even though these new amps do sound great, the 3.15 update appears to be degrading the volume of some other AT3 amps.

Has been confirmed as a problem by support, must be system specific.b15fliptop wrote:Not experiencing that here, for the record.Oscat01 wrote:A word of warning, even though these new amps do sound great, the 3.15 update appears to be degrading the volume of some other AT3 amps.

Here's something that dropped a little early:Burillo wrote:if Amplitube Mesa gives any indication of how Amplitube 4 will sound, any waiting period is too long!
