So I've been going thru editing the memory locations in the Laboratory 49 using MCC. I've been setting each memory location to a different channel so that that by calling up a memory slot -say #3 for example- everything would be on midi channel 3 (except for the MMC controls). After doing this I checked each memory slot and I found that everything was ok except for the pitch wheel and aftertouch. They were always on channel 1. So I had to go thru the Laboratories LCD screen and change those to the correct midi channel for each memory slot. I opened MCC to see if I could find where to set those parameters and did not see them except for min/max settings.

Am I missing something in MCC or is this a bug?

mmm, here is our process to switch between channel

Ok, so you can do directly on the keyboard:
1/ Click on Setup
2/ Turn the Param Knob until you find "UpperChan" Parameter on the Screen
3/ Select your desired channel by turning the "Value" Number
4/ Press Setup
5/ Once you click on the Snapshot for example you will be able to switch to the selected channel.

You can test the chan in the MCCU if there is a problem:
1/ Click on SYNC button
2/ Click on View / MIDI console

Otherwise, it corresponds to the Firmware revision you have on your Laboratory.

Hi David...thanks for looking into this.

In MCC you can set upper and lower channels, save/sync and the note channel works fine. However the Pitch Wheel and Aftertouch commands must be set on the Laboratory - at least that's the way it appears to me. It doesn't seem to follow the upper/lower panel channel assignments in MCC. I just find it odd that you can set parameters for everything but pitch wheel and aftertouch channel assignments in MCC. If this is how it is, so be it... I did go thru and reprogram channel assignments for these in each memory location and now they follow the rest of the controller fine... :?
