A world of drifting analogue and twisted electronics. Noisy, warm, esoteric and confusing; Absynth Obsidian will leave you battered and bruised, but ultimately happy, like a sex game that nearly went a bit too far.

If you like the sounds of Boards of Canada, Ben Frost and Trent Reznor, this will appeal to you. Unhinged leads, wandering pads, bitter soundscapes, murderous basses and granular sequences.

Your timing here is crazy good, I was just starting to open up Absynth again this week and was hoping for some "new" sounds to play with....I'll buy this Friday

PS: fwiw I think stepping away from the "usual cinematic fare" as you say is a very good idea, and should be continued!
