i've been playing around with it and have 3 versions on the go

this is the first to near completion.

any comments would be appreciated as this is not really my genre and know bugger all about mixing vocals

...wow.. This is so different to what I've been doing to it!... but I like it!...

I think it's going to be hard for me to comment on this... As I'm used to hearing the vocals totally differently...

To me something sounds slightly out of tune with the vocals in the verse... But it might be because I've done a totally different chord and Bass line to this that I'm expecting it to do something different!?!

I think the reverb on the vocals sounds a bit funny and distant (again this might just be because of what i've been listening to)... If it's not alreay try putting the pre-delay on the vocal reverb to above 80ms it makes the voice stick out in front more...

I love the middle 8... almost guitar appeggio thing..

for me too, i know what the original sounds like

the chorus has a great feel and that arpeggio thing going is great...

ben - thanks for the reverb tips, reverb on vox is something i know nothing sbout, i changed the pre delays and messed with a couple of other settings, i'll post a new version shortly as i thinks its much better.

dekky - cool tune, glad you like it. version two is almost ready and thats a lot weirder (and more my usual style)
