See, now this was excellent use of this plugin. You kept the phrases short and simple. The FX on the background vocals fit with the music and were buried back enough in the mix that they served more as an FX than as actual vocals.

Very well done and in this context absolutely usable.

Okay, thanks to your efforts, I'm actually going to download this and see if I can't find some use for it even if not for a demo suitable for submission to a producer.

By mucking with X-Sampa (thanks Wikipedia!) I was able to make her sing in Spanish. Will slap together a quick demo soon.

This. I am just an old git but I grew up as a youth in the 80s and luckily (!!!) I found my way into Electro & Detroit & Bogaloo pretty early. Wait a few years until some kind of "Future Electro" will hit the scene. Until then search for stuff like Kid Frost "MC Terminator" or Newcleus or Drexciya and maybe you will know what I am talking about.

Neither Chipspeech nor an 808 sound like the real deal but put them two together and add some kind of other 80s flavoured synth and then you should have a nice kind of 80s oldschool flavour sound.

I always thought that Chipspeech is one of the most innovative Plug Ins around but never had the money to buy it so I am very grateful that Plogue offered me at least one (apparently) full Voice of their Collection for free.

I can see use for Games, Films, all kind of Music etc btw.

Just my 2ct

Well, I downloaded it, installed it and followed instructions on how to load Daisy but I can't get any sound out of it whatsoever. I tried setting up a piano roll with just some random notes and let it play (after loading one of the presets) but nothing.

I do have Aria installed from having Finale so I don't think that's the problem. And with operation instructions (that I can find anyway) I'm kind of stuck at this point.

Okay, I figured out the last step that I didn't do and it's working fine. I'm going to put together a demo track of a song that I've been working on a while that requires a female singer. When it's completed (will probably take many weeks) I will post it here. I think with some work, I can make this passable as a demo. I'll know when it's done.

Glad you got it sorted out.......looking forward to hearing what you come up with. Even if it doesn't fit your project play around with it, have some fun.Happy accidents account for 99% of my output! :D Us old folks got to stick together, bro!

Yeah, I can't get it to work either, which is too bad - I'd like to hear Daisy in Spanish. I've briefly thought about trying to get her to sing "Una mas cerveza" with a Texan accent in both the English and Spanish parts, heh.

It's more proof of concept than anything, it kinda sucks. It's a robotic barbershop quartet
