Well I just aborted purchasing this ! For starters I could not get both the plug and it's expansion set together in the same cart . Simple then .. jettison the expansion ! I then try to pay with pay pal and a pop up says " please note this is only an estimate " REALLY ?? After reading in this thread about conversion sheenanigans ( it better not be VAT as I am in N America !) I aborted .
I have Diversion and would love to have been able to further support this developer but it isn't going to happen . I've NEVER seen any such "this is an estimate " pop up in hundreds of PP purchases . THE PRICE IS THE PRICE Digital RIVER OF Diarrhea . They are out of there minds!!
You need to make some changes Mr. Sches ; you are shooting yourself in the foot !!!!!!
Seriously , this is what happened today and I am sorry not to have been able to purchase your product.

This is standard Papal operating procedure and has nothing to do with this developer. If you are trying to buy goods being sold from another country, most credit card companies charge you a foreign transaction fee. Also paypal is estimating the currency conversion which fluctuates daily, so depending on when the credit card company goes through with the charge the price could change slightly. To avoid both of these issues, register your paypal with your bank and use your bank account to pay for goods being sold from foreign countries, that way you have no additional foreign transaction fee and the currently conversion rate is done through paypal at the time of purchase.contrary wrote:Well I just aborted purchasing this ! Again, this is NOT Mr. Sches fault, but the way paypal and credit card companies handle purchases made outside your country.

I've made at least a hundred purchases or more from many , many software developers from all over Europe in the past 7 years ; never seen this before . I hope it isn't a new phenomena because they can crank it up as much as they see fit then . This is being advertised as $49 dollars ..... that is the advertised price . Why post prices in two currencies like dollars and euro's if that isn't what you pay in the end of a transaction ???
Please believe me when I say I'm not trying to be antagonistic . Most devs give you a direct link to pay pal W/O an intermediary . if you must have an intermediary you need to have one with you agree what their piece of the action is and you need to pay them yourself . Customers don't want to see " agree to pay a price to be determined later at out caprice "

Not sure what the excess emotion is all about?

It's really very sad for me to hear about such experience with ShareIt, I'd love to move towards everyone in order to solve all purchasing questions for sure, it would be absolutely crazy if I don't do anything when I hear about such problems. But, unluckily for me, there are no any viable options except for ShareIt. One of the best options would be direct/manual PayPal processing, but it doesn't work because I'm not allowed to do that according to PayPal's local policy. The existing alternatives to ShareIt are real nightmare, the in-house shop/purchase processing is too huge for small devs like me. I hate to say so, but for now I'm forced to use only ShareIt, and I'm sorry for that

And, (thanks Tom), I'm always opened, just email me and we could try to find out something, maybe some options like Skrill or something else that might work, we always could try.

Hm... nice sale. Still haven't demo'd it though... I hate to say it but this is the exact type of plug in I love the hell out of during the demo process and then promptly never use again. Why is that?

I think it could be that those plugins are more of a one-trick-pony providing something new you haven't heard before or had access to. A granulator for instance sounds like a granulator and you can usually use it for only granulated stuff. Tantra can be used on anything and do very different things to enhance whatever source.zerocrossing wrote:Hm... nice sale. Still haven't demo'd it though... Also, on drums, sequenced knobs for filter and distortion never gets old!
well, that would be my sales pitch
