Yes, seismic1.
That's what the picture above indicates... After I clicked the logo, the version number shows in the top center parameter screen and it shows 2.7.5

OK I think here's what happened: when the Cubase freeze issue was reported last week, I released the hotfix and increased the internal version number.seismic1 wrote:Must be the typo referred to above
So next update will be 2.7.6

Hi everyone,
We have just released yet another update for SynthMaster and SynthMaster Player: v2.7.6
This update brings a couple of new features:
1. For our windows users, now there is a single installer for 32/64 bits. No more double presets showing up on your browser when you install both 32bit and 64bit versions. You can also specify the data folder, 32bit vst, 64bit vst paths separately:
2. We've added weekly version checking: if you turn it on, SynthMaster will do version checking once a week and notify you if there's a newer version on the server.
3. SynthMaster now searches Scala tuning files under <user documents>\SynthMaster\Scales folder as well. Also, if user specified the root note in the tuning file on a comment line, SynthMaster will take that into account:
There are also bug fixes in this release:
1. FIX: When user saves a file, file extension is now automatically added to the file name if missing
2. FIX: WAV files containing invalid cue chunks are now read correctly by SynthMaster
3. FIX: Favorite presets with longer that 31 characthers might cause SynthMaster to crash
Registered users can download the latest updates at:

Demo users can download the latest updates at:

Enjoy!

I have played with the demo little bit. First impression is great really
The cpu usage is really good (low) and I didn't see any spikes in its usage (like i had in a previous version). The FX are not top notch IMO, but some of them are good, anyway this is not so important. The filters are very good even at draft.
Good improvements, and it seems very stable now
I might buy it again as I already know my way in it.

Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Thanks guysOutCider wrote:Thank you Bulent. Your update efforts are much appreciated.
One thing I forgot to mention: On Windows, the installer now creates the SynthMasterFolders.txt automatically and places that under <user documents>\SynthMaster folder. I thought this should be the central place for the DLL files to search for SynthMasterFolders.txt file. Same is true for Mac OSX: If you place the SynthMasterFolders.txt file under Documents/SynthMaster folder SM will load it.

There is a small quirk that when I load a new instance of synthmaster, and press new > reset preset, it says the waveform is a sine when it is a saw. Any idea why? it doesn't hinder the program at all though but it is kinda funky.

yeah I am aware of that visual bug. I was just lazy fixing it since I had more important issues to fixPyrotek45 wrote:There is a small quirk that when I load a new instance of synthmaster, and press new > reset preset, it says the waveform is a sine when it is a saw. OK - I'm getting a crash whenever I try to load up SM2.6 or 2.7 (factory) in Sonar Platinum (the brand new upgrade - Ipswich).
If I have a project with SM Player 2.6 or 2.7 already in it works fine in Sonar.
Using Sonar X3 it all worked fine as well.
