Now, if I develop a synth using the standardised block system and you have a different filter that want to use, you can quickly swap it out on the GUI front page without needing to understand more than an overview of modular synthesis.
Ironically, Reaktor demonstrates that it wasn't a modular synth but a prototype environment. *Now it's a modular synth.
