I predict that Beatzille is a cut down version of Bazille, a bit like how Zebra is to Zebra CM

For newbies that now get tempted to subscribe, suggest you look at annual subscription (jahresabo) as you then can for example claim Carbon Electra (full version) as your welcome gift

I got ACE back then, really a bargain (and 12 glossy soft-hardware ad mags) for 60 €. :tu:

That must be on of the best free synths ever... :o

Though I have Bazille, this may be very helpful for brushing up one's cable-ing skills. :)

+1

In my case, done some time ago :tu:

It's the U-HE enrollment system for Bazille :p
1st Year of school: Beat Zille - you know everything of Beat Zille
2st Year of school: You must buy Bazille :)

Clever clever Urs ;)

A benefit of Beatzil LE is that it might be lighter on the CPU than the full Bazille ?

Nice one. I can have it if I purcahse only the October issue of Beat, right? (sorry, I understand almost nothing in German ). How much does it cost?

Looks like a musthave for psytrance and related genres.

Slightly, but not much. The core code is the same. Bazille calculates 4 Oscs at the expense of one, and 4 filters at the expense of one, due to low level coded SIMD instrcutions (SSE). So that doesn't change. However, the missing ramp generators and whatever else will make Beatzille a tad lighter on CPU than Bazille.

Umm... it's not christmas today is it? :D Thanks a lot Urs and the team! Awesome maggie (magware).

@ recursive one: Yep. Someone also told me that they have digital downloads of the mag's DVD now, but i'm not sure how you get it, if you bought the digital issue. Maybe someone can tell.

Yeah, you can buy single Beat issue from Falkemedia: http://www.falkemedia-shop.de/musik/beat.html

Costs €4.49 + shipping

Thank you! So, it must be a physical purchase?

EDIT: found the download option :tu:

I have not got any info from Beat that DVD content can be downloaded. I subscribe to their newsletter, so would think that I had picked up such an announcement.

In the launch note on their Facebook page they say that: Beatzille ist als "Vollversion" auf der Heft-DVD.

So it aint gonna be enough just buying the PDF version of the mag I'm afraid.

Beatzille as a full version on the enclosed DVD?

Yeah, I don't think the pdf version has any download option... it'll be on the hardcopy/DVD only :-/

I guess no Gear porn skin? Anyway, looking forward to it. :)

I'm subscriped to Beat for a yea, and for one issue, the DVD was kaputt, so i sent them a mail, and they sent me a link to download the ISO file for the DVD. Should work for digital copies of the mag too, and someone confirmed that too here, i just can't remember who or where.
