vsts not getting detected

hello,

i recently got the demo version of RC after seeing its amazing capabilities. unfortunately none of my vsts are getting detected by RC. i have a lot of vsts like kontakt, garritan world instruments and more and i think all of them are 64 bit versions as i use mac. in the demo download area of RC, there is no mention for 32 bit and 64 bit mac downloads...there is only one download button without the mention of what bit it is in. so i don't know whether 32 bit RC has been installed or the 62 bit one.

when i go to settings in RC and under that when i go to vsti, nothing seems to get detected, and if i search for compatible plugins, in the mac finder window under plugins section, none of the vstis are highlighted so that it can be chosen.

also there are so many inbuilt in instruments in the demo version, but i get sound with most basic instruments like the piano, steel guitar etc...there are so much more inbuilt instruments in RC, but if i load any of them, sound doesn't come.

any help in resolving this issue is appreciated as i am eager to get my hands dirty with RC. guess i would definitely go for the pro version :)

cheers

Hi mysticeye,

I am terribly sorry for not realizing your post and replying so late. That was a lesson learned; I won't trust KVRAudio's e-mail notification when a new post appears. If you send me an e-mail to the info@... address you'll get a quick reply.

I cannot find an explanation why VST plug-in do not work with RC on your mac. The only thing that you need to check if you see "(x64)" in the window title. The OS X application contains both the 32-bit and 64-bit executable. If for some reason the 32-bit executable is run, it won't be able to load your 64-bit plug-ins.

Please let me know.
Thanks,
Attila
