There's this:

And this:

Both from MTsoftware.
Those are the only ones I'm aware of.

And of course there’s Apple’s GarageBand which is bundled with all new Macs (you can also get it as part of the iLife suite for $49).

Other sequencers that aren’t free but relatively inexpensive are Tracktion ( www.mackie.com/products/tracktion ), Intuem ( www.intuem.com ) and Numerology ( www.five12.com ).

Completely forgot about that one.
Looks a bit... idiosyncratic.
No idea how it sounds.
Numerolygy, on the other hand, is ideosyncratic but sounds great.
And now we're getting a bit wacky anyway, I could mention Sonasphere.(1)

(1) but not reaaly a seqeuncer, that's why I didn't mention it before.

And how about Plogue Bidule ( www.plogue.com/bidule )? More an ”environment” than a sequencer but the beta is a free download (expires November 24th).

Yes, of course.
I lost track of Bidule to be honest, no that I'm getting more and more into AudioMulch on my home computer (and I have less time for messing around with audio at work).

I'm pretty dang sure this works on osx

I've got full blown logic so i haven't tried logic fun in osx. i would be shocked if it didn't work on osx. 4 tracks of audio, lot's of midi tracks (at least 16). no vst or audio units though.

the choices, especially for freeware, are much smaller for the mac.
