I tried but wasn't succesful - I did not find any blacklist für VSTs nor could I translate this path to the mac.

Sigh.

Hi KingClarkie,

would you please do me a favor and install ezd (demo mode should be enough I guess) on your system. Just in order ot see if it would be recognized bei S1Av3?

Sorry, I can't do that. I don't have it already, and it looks like a lot of effort to get even the demo (account creation, login, large download) which I'd rather not go through.

OK, no problem. Thanks again.

Now, after fiddling around a bit I found this:

- Guitar Rig 4 --> working in S1Av2
- Kontakt 4 --> working in S1Av2
- Reaktor 5 (!) --> working in S1Av2
- EZD2 --> working in S1Av2
- Melodyne --> working in S1Av2 as well.

... well, that's fine. Screenshots:

BUT: NONE of them are working in S1Av3 (excluding Melodyne - this would run fine).

I ask myself why not (knowing that they DO run in S1Av3 on Windows)?

Explanation by Presonus:
- Third party license will run all the way through all the different versions of (i.e.) Studio One Artist v1 or v2 or v3 that one would be upgrading to (that's what I did: I DO own S1A v1 AND v2 AND v3).
- BUT (!) those third party licenses only would run in their version number they were bundled with: if Guitar Rig came via Komplete Elements 7 in version GR4 then only version 4 should be running on future versions of Studio One Artist.

At least that's their official (!) statement. Further customer rights are not eligible.

So, now on the other hand we're aware that also upgraded version numbers of i.e. EZD would run inside S1Av2 (although S1Av1 only came with ezd1 I am able to run EZD2). Yes, see screenshots.

And given that different versions of Studio One came with either Komplete Elements 7 or Komplete Players 8 would give us different versions of let's say Kontakt (Players):
- Komplete Elements 7 came with Kontakt 4 Player
- Komplete Players 8 came with Kontakt 5 (Player of course ... but if you'd own full licence it should run full Kontakt 5).

Now one step forward this should lead us to: In case we got Komplete Players 8 bundled we should be able to run (even in S1Av3 regarding Presonus' statement on the ability to use those third party license in future versions of S1Artist):
- Guitar Rig 5 (dunno if it does)
- Reaktor 5 (yes, works: confirmed by KingClarkie's screenshots - at least on windows)
- Kontakt 5 (yes, works: confirmed by KingClarkie's screenshots - at least on windows)
- EZD1 (since it came with S1Av1)

... since all those NI Players came with "Komplete Players 8" which was bundled with S1Av2.

In the end: they do NOT work in my MAC version of S1Av3 nor does EZD1 or EZD2. Hmmmpfffhhh ...

Ideas anyone?
