So I pulled the score for Beethoven's 4th Symphony off the shelf, cos that's got to be fairly smart right? And I thrashed it at chess, and I'm not even very good at chess. Didn't make a single move without help. And it couldn't explain quantum physics either. Dumb as a rock clearly, and this is supposedly the good stuff. So pop music must be stupider.

And people who claim to be fans of 'classical' generically probably only say it to try to sound smart. Fans of Lil Wayne may require additional explanation that uses shorter words.
