By Euro-inspired, I'm guessing you mean like the Virus? If so, that can only be a good thing.Angus_FX wrote:One thing we could fairly easily do is add some more extreme Euro-inspired shapers in the FX chain. Was playing around with wavefolders yesterday - lots of fun noises with those, and sound pretty decent at high sample rates.

I'm just a big ol' fan of waveshapers that you can draw arbitrary transfer curves into. They can do some magic. I'm hoping that the curve will be able to be used as such in the new cypher. Or you could do an fx module with a drawable waveshaper which would rock the jams.Angus_FX wrote:Doesn't work that way, I'm afraid - sorry! There's a waveshaper on the sub, drive stages on the filter & amp - and a distortion / overdrive / waveshaper you can insert in the FX chain.I'm late, but yes I was wanting to use the curve as an audio wave shaper.

Thanks for the heads-up re Cubase. Wonder why they did that - FXP/FXB is their own standard, for goodness sake.

I think Fusor will be free -> 3 * $80 = $240Angus_FX wrote:It's going to be a bit of a wait, but no-one is going to be paying $300+ to upgrade everything. Can't say anything more than that for the time being.I don't really want to get into the pricing debate but I'd also like to have a bit more clarity on how much other synths are going to cost. Or perhaps have to wait and see...
Sorry that I dicuss the price again, but I realy like strobe 2 and i can also pay the 72€ for update, but I am afraid that I have to pay $80 for cypher and amber again to use all synths in fusor. Maybe you can work out bether prices for owners of strobe 2 than normal synthsquad upgrade offers.

just bought the upgrade and the arp/step department is a bit disappointed to me when comparing to Fusor apr features. Correct me if I am wrong that I couldn't find the arp type like up/down/up-down etc ... And when drawing the bars, it couldn't :
1) show the parameter reading ...
2) comparing with Fusor, Strobe 2 didn't allow me to draw the bars down. Right now, it allows me to draw up the bars.
3) When i draw the bars up, it can't be represented as pitch..
May be Fursor's apr/step features were so powerful that made me wish they are all in S2.
