they are most definatly NOT bankrupt.
have you SEEN the amount of hardware they have in their labs and on the shelves???
they could ebay for a while and survive.
the guys that programed nad helped create the Eventide H3000? yeah I seriously doubt they are hurting for money.
might be running lean but they have a small tight crew and are some of the top guys in the industry.
plus they have all that money from all the presale of v4 bundle from all the gumps like me waiting on v5 bundle. LOL.
I have not seen 1 article or heard on any forum of someone going to the end of Sept event. No news of seeing anything, no news at all. No posts on social media about the event from soundtoys. nada.
I really just don't want this to be a IK Spampletank 3 situation. cause once it was released with all the hype and pomp it sucked balls.
oh well. I just pretend that there are no other Soundtoys plugins, I have EVERYTHING!!! woohoo. when v5 comes out it will do something and have something. Work with that later when it comes out.

My post was meant as a joke. Of course I don't think they're broke... I hope so.MachineClaw wrote:they are most definatly NOT bankrupt.

Says $50 upgrade price for me to upgrade all I have to the v5 Bundle. I already own everything they made before v5.
I expected to pay far more so great one Soundtoys.

$85 for me.
Sounds right a right bargain to free up a USB port.

So what does the v4 -> v5 upgrade give me for things like Little Radiator and so on?
Just "no dongle required"?
Or anything interesting?
Need the iLok anyway for McDSP, iZotope, Lexicon, etc. so I don't really care about dongle-less-ness at the moment.

No ilok dongle required but does require Ilok software installed.
A rack to load Soundtoys plugins into so nice and neatly stacked and one click to open them all up.
Plugins also come separate too so you can load them up as you always have done.
Rack comes with a set of controls such as feeding the rack output into its own input.
A new delay it's an emulation of the Lexicon prime Time 93

Does having both Ilok and E-licencer on the same computer cause problems? Just curious because If i have to have one or the other I"ll probably ditch the e-licencer and take the Ilok.

There's also the new rack, which seems to turn all of the ST5 plugins into a modular system.chokehold wrote:So what does the v4 -> v5 upgrade give me for things like Little Radiator and so on?

I don't fear the iLok and I don't need the rack.Jax Pok wrote:No ilok dongle required

By the Lexicon emulation you mean Primal Tap? I was wondering why I could suddenly upgrade that for $49.
Literally just came back to KVR after closing the SoundToys and PayPal tabs from upgrading...
EDIT: "Upgrade to Soundtoys 5 for only $240"
F*ck, now I have a problem. I so wanted a new Mic/DI preamp, but looks like this is a no-brainer.
