Mulab question: is there a way to stop it from prompting me how I want to adjust note lengths when I select multiple MIDI notes and adjust the length, and just always do 'relative'?

Not yet.

No, these options are relevant, aren't they? Note that you can also press [R] to quickly choose Relative.

Hm, does any other Reaper (4.6xx) -user have problems with using a Mux VST (not VSTi) on a folder track?

I put a Mux on my drum folder track and it works well until I press stop playback and then start it again. Seems it just stops processing and won't start again so the output from the folder gets muted.

I could probably work around this and instead make a drum bus with sends. If I have time I'll look into it tonight and see if it works better.

I've just started playing around with this synth and it seems awesome  and very versatile so far but I do have problem making
Oscillator Sync and Frequency Modulation. How do I make these?

It doesn't hold the presets when saving projects in Fruity Loops 12 for me. Does it keep the presets active in other DAWs? I meen I have to load/save all presets when i open/close projects.

Not really possible as far as I know, although you can use the Multi form oscillator to make similar sounds.

Works fine for me in Reaper...

Check out Zync Alfa and Zync Beta in the MFO presets folder

These effects are a bit unfinished and from an earlier version so the new cool front panel features are not implemented.
Perhaps they are of use to someone. The trance gate is pretty neat.

Good luck, everyone! Mux is ultra deep so will be hard to finish in time :D

By the way, how will we do instance count this month... Considering you may have a Mux in a Mux in a Mux ad infinitum (Muxception!)...
Is it ok to only count the instances exposed to the DAW...?
Should we count effect-Mux separate from instrument-Mux?
:-o Incredible  :tu:  Seems I have a way to go with some of my own creations....

Gonna end up purchasing this crazily addictive thing ....I just know it

MUX ...not even once! :hihi:
Hehe, I had a lot more free time in the spring :P
All that cabling took a while and being a programmer obsessed with clean code I made sure to make reusable modules for a lot of different functions so if you open these up and take a look at the madness within you can extract some utility modules that might be useful.

Very addictive, Mux... I just had to buy it after basically one whole night of playing around with the demo.

Oh now I see! Thanks for the tip. I have to use a wavetable and prerender the waveshapes using the Resync Transform.

Thanks for the tip, though, I think in 99% of the time, relative (this does mean: adjust everything I selected by the same amount, yes?) is fine and definitely worth dealing with fixing things manually when it's not to avoid getting a prompt *every time*. I'd just get rid of the other options, I mean how useful is percentage for note *end*? Maybe for note start to adjust timing or something - but note starts don't even move together in the same way at all... If you want to line them up, just quantize the ends (I have done this exactly twice in multiple years of making music). So yes, these options are relevant, but unnecessary and a usability issue...

Okay, I am finally starting to work on this today. I've got a spare 6 hours that I can put in. I don't know if I'll get to finish this for the OSC but I'm going to at least give it a shot. This is one of my favorite synths so it's my chance to show what I can do with it.

A technique I've used for a few of my more favorite OSC submissions is to make like 5 - 20 seconds section of a song. Like have a beat, bass, melody, harmony, percussion, etc. Make that sound amazing. Then figure out how to stretch that over the whole song.

So rather than doing like a whole song and then figuring out how to polish it / mix it, just make a 5-20 second part of a song (maybe a chorus line or something), and make it sound amazing. Now you've done 80% of the work, then it's mostly composition, and some automation / track lane / midi stuff.
