Has anyone used the Metro sequencer software?

I haven't used it... but I have looked into it for a friend who's looking for a macintosh host.
A few interesting things:
-- the president of the company is astronomer Carl Sagan's son Jeremy.
-- he developed Metro years ago, and sold it to Cakewalk. After working for Cakewalk for a few years, he quit and bought it back.
-- perhaps because Jeremy worked at Cakewalk for a while, there are a lot of similarities between Metro and Sonar.
I'm continually amazed at how little mention Metro gets around here... I'd love to know if it's all it appears to be.

It works all right, it's just not very interface friendly IMHO... I've tried it a few times over the years, but it seemed too expensive to justify me having to learn a new interface... Especially since I already knew Cubase, Reason and Logic...
