Check it out y'all.

My plan was to write songs all semester - one per week, because I wasn't happy with the number of pieces I completed last semester (only about three or four!).
But then, I'm not really liking the sound of my voice!
Forever,
Kim.

Me likes this a lot, it shouldn't work but it does
My only complaint's are the vocals are a touch loud and it could do with more variety on the drums. Nice one.
RIP Black Tom and Beckett. They weren't just cats, they were MY cats, the best cats ever.

WOW... The vocals are loud (too loud ???) !!!
Louder in the verses than in the chorus !
Is it really what you want ?
I love your voice !!!
I agree with IanB, you can try to do some variation with the background accompaniment !
The end is funny...
I like it very much ! (And i'd love to hear a version with quiter vocal in the verses)

I just meant the vocals seem more spoken than sung, that's all. Still a great track tho'Jeez wrote:Thanks!

Yeah, I'm quite happy with the mix. I'd been listening to a bit of solo vocal+acousticguitar stuff, where the vocal is front and clear, and the background is far behind.Ixox wrote:WOW... The vocals are loud (too loud ???) !!!

In the chorus, the vocals are not so important so they can go back, and the instruments or "groove" are more important...
Thanks!Ixox wrote:I love your voice !!!![]()

The way the chorus is sung is quite good. I can understand that you say in the chorusses the background is more important, but I feel like Ixox and Ian that a pushing the vox in the verses may be helpful in making a bit more balanced tune.
Enjoyed and do go on and sing more
