I'm really happy to finally be done!
Done what?
Done cherry picking samples from our unreleased bins, hiring producers, designing, creating demo's, chopping vids, and finishing our new little masterpiece - called DrumTROOP!

Best of all I'm giving out a nice chunk of it as a loss leader to get it going - so you guys all get something really cool for really free today
Comes with 20 kits pre-loaded, and we're starting off with 7 fairly big expansions that you can add-on.
Grab it at: http://www.dubturbo.com/dt4-vsti-drumtroop.php

Quick feature list:
32x/64x - mac/pc - vst/au
* 16outputs (one per pad, and the rest of the keys are added/split into the last three)
* We use all 128 triggers on every kit
* 16-20 sounds per kit (some kits are full = 100+ samples)
* Universal drum placement on the first 8 pads
* One shot expansions + construction kit expansions
* .wav files come with MOST of the expansions (all but one actually)
* Quick on board Vol, Pan, Attack, Release per pad (the rest is done in your daw, no fx/bloat inside)
* Cool skins that change per expansion
* 3 different setups among 3 different templates (16x, 12x, 4x, in span/romp/rr/mixed formats)
* 90% never released content - hidden surprises everywhere (including extra sounds in the .wav folders)
* Midi files coming soon with a ton of drum patterns in many genres to help you get going on a composition fast.
* It's a weapon of mass production!
KVR Special:
I've done a lot to try to spread good karma with this project including the free initial installer+20 kits, however I'm going to still honor my usual give away here at KVR. I've packed a surprise bag of the expansions into a cool mixed pack and will be giving 50 or so away here to the first ppl that post and like/tweet/share/etc any of the DrumTROOP pages on the site. I really want this to go far and wide even if the expansions don't move too many units, so please don't be shy to spread the good word in your own circles as the samples are top shelf and I know everyone is always hunting for more drums/sounds... Especially those of you who belong to any audio/production facebook groups please get this cool freebie out there!
Last part of the KVR special :: Every time I add another expansion (it will all depend on how well this goes or doesn't go) I'll be doing another giveaway post here and hopefully this thread leaves behind a good lil' legacy of the DrumTROOP evolution. In time who knows she may even mature into a full blown sampler too but for now this should make a lil' noise
Here are a few vids and tracks showcasing it and some of our cheesy quirky futuristic marketing. Hopefully effective and viral worthy but if not at least a cool addition to the portfolio. I had a LOT of fun making the first vid, HD/full screen it if you have the time (it's 4min but rather packed with sense tingling visuals/audio so it fly's by).
Dreamy 'making of' vid:

A big thank you to Simon Simsky (https://skyforsounds.wordpress.com/) who by happen chance reached out while I was building this wondering if I needed any kits/sounds for dubturbo4, I gave him a chance on this and he absolutely killed it on some of these construction kits - so thank you Simon! I think you guys are going to love the quality of this collective talent/pool of sounds.
BEAT CONTEST: I'm also going to be giving out a monthly $100 prize to the best beat/track that gets submitted to us in screencap/youtube format so if you like enetering producer battles please submit (yes you can use the free install/20 kits you don't have to purchase anything to enter). More info on the site.
At the end of the day yes it's a prepacked rompler with meticulously crafted/arranged kits. However it's also something that's probably going to save you a ton of time (at least for laying the bones of your tracks, or creating loops/riffs/elements..), and keep you from going creatively stale while you shape yet, another, sound kit, from scratch, in your sampler... I love creating kits and my EXS is a good few hundred kits deep now from my stuff over the years however I myself am still always on the hunt for new stuff too so I know how it is when you get sick of your libraries and are too blahhhh to go build more sets from scratch.
Ok enough rambling, one more set of vids/tracks and I'm eagerly waiting on feedback and watching download counters - Only thing I've found is the pitch knob doesn't seem to work on MAC's. Other than that she's light, she's crafty, and she provides very loud happy endings (on the quality of your final mix exports that is).
