Hence my many recent posts asking about solutions to farm out DSP processing, ie VEP5, System Link, FX Teleport etc.

I remember their RenVerb initial release was very CPU intensive and they markedly improve the performance with later versions. Hope they do it here as well

It's actually already has been streamlined for performance.

It's neither an algorithmic or a convolution plugin, so we really can't impose similar kinds of performance expectations on the H-Reverb. It's a new style of reverb unto it's own.

Granted, maybe they should include a Lo-Res mode or something. Hoover it's not the only plugin that is guilty of consuming more CPU. There has been a slow trend amoungst other plugin developers as well to release their own CPU intensive processing, favouring it for higher quality output.

I'm not entirely convinced it makes a difference in the very single case, however.

In other news, it's interesting to note that H-Reverb has recited a nomination for the Sound On Sound awards.

Thanks, was curious what that could be. Everyplugin has it listed for 124, lowest I think I've seen. Much lower than audiodeluxe at 149.

Ah yes, but first you need to add it to your cart for a special price and then apply the GIFT50 coupon code which brings it down to $83.

The same may be applicable for Everyplugin, I haven't tried there.

The gift codes work at everyplugin too, yes (they don't neccessarily deduct the whole 50€ though - still probably the lowest endprice however)...

Everyplugin simply shows you the discounted price without having to put it in the cart. I've switched from AD to EP for most plugin purchases if they both carry it because EP always has the lowest price. and their customer service is top notch, better than AD because its very personable and they work to keep you a happy customer.

No, you misunderstood - you first need to add it to the cart, THEN you can apply the gift code.
It's quite simple: No cart, no discount-coupon.

Yep, me too. I still check the other online retailers, but EP is winning every time.
