Now hosted on Goggle drive. Awesome - I'll try this out again... Thanks for getting rid of that internet host you once used (that almost insisted in me installing a downloader app which Chrome &etc reported as grim.

Here's the gumph from Kirsty's site:

XSRDO Patchwork Modular System

Unlike some VSTi synthesizers which claim to be modular but are in fact, really just simple fixed synthesizers where the modulation matrix has been replaced by fancy graphic lines drawn across the screen...

XSRDO Patchwork Modular System is a true modular synthesizer.
You can choose what modules you want, where to put them and how many of them you want. Each module is independent of any other and only becomes active when you start to patch them together in your own creative way.

Features...

- 36 virtual racks
- 44 virtual modules
- Insert any module into any rack
- Insert multiple modules
- Movable modules
- Load & Save preset programs

Simply point and click on a virtual rack header to insert, delete or move a module or click on the XSRDO patchwork modular System title for more options

Nice work!

Didn't work in Bitwig 1.1.9 (x86).

Initializing failed. Couldn't load the modules on startup.

Updated to v094

Updates...
- Please note this beta version is not fully compatible with the presets of previous versions due to
some internal modifications for the way modules are now handled.
- The wavetable oscillator now loads *.wav files and not the custom dat files used before.
- Some new improved sequencer modules.
- Alterations to the MIDI controllers modules.

Thanks Kirsty

Just took a look in the extracted folder to double-check for a manual (as to avoid a RTFM moment here),
and noticed there are presets that aren't being seen by XSRDO.

I'm guessing that all the presets prior to 8/14 aren't compatible?

In any case, some "for dummies" presets (like examples of setting PB to +1/-1 etc.) would be most welcome

I've had a break from development as my laptop is faulty.
A lot of the time it fails to POST and sometimes takes up to 6 power on/offs before it finds the Hard drive and then boots..
I changed the hard drive with a new one but that didn't help.
All I can think of now is to update the BIOS to the latest version, but I'm scared to try that in case I kill my PC
and I can't afford to buy another one :(

Anyway...
- To get a PB of +/- 1 octave just set the PB level knob to 1.
- I've cleaned up the preset folder and want to write a few more modules, another oscillator type and some more envelopes.
- I'm currently up to version 0.96 with a few enhancements.
- I'd like to reduce the untire GUI by about 10-20% but might not as it takes time to redo all the graphics.
- As long as my pc keep working i'm hoping to get to v1.0 as soon as possible.

I've also ported the wave editor code from previous versions into a standalone *.exe

When I visited your blog a couple of hours back and saw that 'v1.0', I was as thrilled as if I'd made it myself. So I can't begin to imagine just how satisfied you must be feeling right now.
Enjoy - you've earned it!
My congratulations - and respect, verging on awe: gifted software engineers with the soul of a musician are rare indeed.
And, if you'll forgive the cliche (the sentiment is genuine): Thank you for sharing.
None of the really dumb people I knew when I was young are young any more.
