After years of producing music on a PC, I just started using an iPad mini 4 to compose songs for a change. I'd like to import my finished songs into my iTunes library to play on the same iPad. Is it possible to do this without using a computer? Right now, I'm exporting the songs from the app to a sharing service (i.e. DropBox), copying the songs from the sharing service on my PC into my iTunes library and then attaching my iPad to sync the songs back to the iPad! Is there an easier way to do this that doesn't involve copying the songs from the iPad to the computer and then back to the iPad again? If you're wondering why I want my own songs in my iTunes library in the first place, it's because I found this cool Vinyl effect app that only loads music from iTunes and is only supported as an Input in AudioBus (not an effect). I like to create my own beats, apply vinyl effects and then chop them up to sound like they were sampled off a record. I call it faux-sampled beats and I've been producing them for years on the PC.

I had the same question, did some research, but did not find a way to directly export my own tunes to iTunes on the iPad.
So I guess the answer ist no.

Still not possible directly, but yes via other virtual transfer methods including even just emailing the file to yourself and opening in music player on iPad. iCloud, Dropbox, etc. are the other options.

Audioshare is hands-down the best utility for handling audio in iOS - where you can down/upload to/from just about anywhere, including FROM iTunes library. Just record your performance directly in to Audioshare and upload/transfer from there.

Since you have Audiobus, I would also take a look at getting some vinyl effects...not sure if any of them are any good, but some are free.

You could also check out MusicIO and record audio directly to your PC via Lightning/USB cable

Good luck
