Cubase Pro 8 and Omnisphere 2
Toss up actually between Omniphere 2 and Sampletank 3. ST3 really stepped up its game with the last upgrade and has quality sampled instruments, FX, beat loops and MIDI files to really make it a great all-rounder creative tool on its own.
Omnisphere 2 gets the nod though, just on the sheer volume of inspirational presets. That could keep you busy for years.

Shortcircuit and Psycle.
Both are in fact free, so they are also easy to own

Logic X.
I wouldn't really need any extra plugin, but if I had to, I would probably pick Serum.

For me it would be FL Studio 11 and Wusikstation v7, I can do pretty much all I want with these two.

I'd be happy just using Logic Pro X. Logic's plugins are excellent (Sculpture, Alchemy, Retro Synth, ES2, to name several).Kriminal wrote:Most hosts come with enough stuff to not even need a plugin....
