First of all, Frank, a huge thank you. I'm going to give you all the expansions to say thanks, and make you some breakfast if I'm ever in Germany lol.
WOW over here as well! Thanks a million for that gift!!! And be sure I'll use it in my current and future productions while mentioning that I used DrumTROOP
Norbz wrote: Secondly, you have a really great knack for this stuff, you're going to do well with your channel imo. Made me laugh quite a few times (the war sounds walkthrough was awesome) and your humble/friendly nature comes across well.
Thank you :P In my opinion, if some funny stuff is involved it is easier for people to watch, and it is a lot more fun to produce these videos then.
Norbz wrote:Third, your track turned out amazing :).
Thanks for that :) I think it's good but still needs a lot of work. But for the purpose of a demo I wanted to leave it untouched, so people can see how much power comes out of DrumTROOP on a dry level already.
Norbz wrote:I don't know what to say man I'm very humbled at the moment and happy you made something sound so good on top of the vid.

Ummmm, can I hire you? Are you single??
I am nearly 40 y/o, married, two children, so far away from being single :D But for future reviews of DubTurbo you kinda hired me already, that's for sure

Kudoz for what you did, what you are doing and what you'll do in the future man!

Wow! Your video was awesome. I wish you success with your YouTube series.

I'd also like to add a lil demo to the pile: 2 flavors of urban music for twice the fun https://soundcloud.com/matt-haronian/dr ... -2-flavors

Raaaaaaaaa.

You guys are making some wicked stuff already, I'm very happy. NineOfKings that second beat is serious, knocks my mackie 8's pretty damn hard. First beat has that wicked oldschool/boombap'ish feel, good job! Both sound like it's just the one kit you're on, is that right?

EDIT: Just finished another demo for the shotsfired kit too actually might as well post it - if anyone else does anything please drop it :)

Thanks! For the first one I used 1 kit for the majority and used a second kit just for tambourine and synth lead during the chorus. For the second one I got the 808 kick and claps from one kit and the rest of the sounds from another.

Those are some serious gunshot samples.

Wow, this one is banging my head on low quality headphones @ work already, I am curious how it'll shake me when I am back home and I grab some real headphones :)

Great work!

Thanks, this whole SlimJesus thing is kinda crazy so I finally checked it out/refixed the beat.., I don't really get what all the commotion is he's a parody. Numbers don't lie though dude is getting some serious shine atm..

Anyway, I'll be gone for a few days incase ppl can't reach me I'll get back to you as soon as I return.

*Also just a note - this vsti set and moment in time also marks (at least for me) the 64bit official takeover. This is the first time we have more 64bit downloads happening than 32bit (some are grabbing both). Just thought I'd share.

It's good to hear about the 64 bit turnover - it was about time.

What I completely forgot about DrumTROOP, just as a sidenote: If I had the chance for a feature request, it would the possibility to route all channel to one generic output channel :D

Anyways - enjoy your time off, bro! :tu:

Wow, I'm kind of late to this party but this product seems very nice and it's refreshing to not have the same old recycled drums that keep getting used. Great video Frank as well.

Just got back from a vacation in Jamaica, and to top it off I met some artists and recorded them (with phone cams/mics) for some dubplates to come - these are pure spiritually driven reggae/chant/choir type of artists (one male one female), and I'm going to try to help them a bit by integrating their stuff into the drumtroop brand. Kinda excited as I was chatting with the GF about bringing my gear down there 'incase' I run into some talent, and sure enough within a day I met a bunch but didn't bring the real gear... Anyway thanks to everyone who participated in the little launch here..

I have a small request, I'm new to the whole product listing/rating thingie here, noticed I've had an official review and rating on DrumTroop however the user didn't know how to setup the 16 outputs and just took a shit on it/low rating.. thank you to the few that corrected him in the comments, if I could please ask anyone to give it a proper review/.02 to balance out the official rating it would be greatly appreciated. >> http://www.kvraudio.com/product/drumtroop-by-dubturbo

Feels funny being back, a week on a beach partying does wonders to you when you sit back down in front of your station.. "This, is what I do? Sit in a room pressing buttons making noise??

filkertom wrote:Okay, actually, there seems to be a problem. If I load DrumTROOP into Reaper with only two outputs, I can only get one sound per kit to actually... sound. Specifically, the lower left -- C3 -- or equivalent, as the GUI changes per instrument.

Multitrack, no prob.

Win/64 version.

ETA: Never mind, not a glitch at all, just Reaper routing. I may never figure that sh!t out. :?
Filkertom - how did you fix this routing issue? I have the same problem.
