Ways of making old things sound new / plastic
2015-10-16T17:26:28+00:00
Hi!
Anybody aware of ways of making old things sound new / plastic?
So far the Ableton Vocoder does it nicely for me, but was wondering if maybe there are other ways.
Thanks!

I can't help but think of PlastiCZ, one of the first VSTs I bought (and still use sometimes). So I associate PD synthesis with "plastic." Kind of shiny, but not metallic shiny or "glass" shiny (that would be FM, except for Nemesis, which sounds kind of like greasy plastic to me).
