Cool track. All of it seems to work together very well. A couple of the spiky glitchies might benefit from some repeating delay, but just in spots to help them be less stark.

I like the way the drums ease into the piece and also how they are dark in comparsion to the pads. The whole thing has a nice hypnotic vibe.

thanks a lot, it was my first adventure with "glitchy vocals" this really so all tips are welcome.

as i said to kim, by the time i'd spent an afternoon choping, glitching, and re-ordering vocals i was shattered.

i'll probably add a bit more delay when i revist the tune in a few days.

cheers for the comments guys,

steve.

Nice! I think you could probably use a little less of the glitch and piano - in order to make the listener want them more and I'd say the rhythm could be a bit more aggressive to counter the dreamy piano - but you got some very cool parts in there! 8)

This is a real neat version. I liked the clean piano rather than a dirty, old sounding one, I think. It's a bigger contrast this way. though it is a bit too sharp perhaps

the vocal effects are way cool! i like those sped-up vocals(?) alot too.

how did you make that wind like "woohosh" effect at ±2:32?? I've been wanting to make such an effect for ages.

anyway nice & inspiring work!

ta very much....

the whoosh shound is actually a plugin called "whoosh" also from xoxos.

i've stuck it through a big reverb and then automated a filter sweep over the tail.

hope thats useful,

steve.
