Allo all, just plugging a tune called Twilight which i recently completed; http://www.ravenspiral.com/d3/d21-twilight.ogg is where you can find it. Stylewise it's a collision of My Bloody Valentine, Joy Division and "Here Come The Warm Jets"-era Brian Eno.

VSTs used: GForce Oddity, GForce MTron, Voxengo Warmifier, Voxengo GlissEQ, Voxengo Elephant, Voxengo Soniformer 2, c-plugs SuperStereo, mp3-some Shapee
Hosts: Buzz 1.2b + OL1.5M, FaSoft n-Track Studio

Comments are welcome. :)

Very cool hihats you got running there in the beginning.

Unfortunately I think the build lacks somehow in the low end, and there's this lo-fi feel about the leads and guitar you are using. All the time I was expecting an outburst with some punched in beats and leads. I don't know, but to my ears it sounds so washed out with little excitement in the dynamics.

Your voice there though deserves a bit more foreground, and hearing it, it sounds a bit like Donkey Tugger. I am enjoying the vox :D

Hello and thx for the cool tune,

The song in itself is really good, reminds me of Pulp at their best times :), BUT either the ogg encoding or directly the mixing is really infect, it sounds all clipping and trashy as hell. :(

This song deserves a better mixing imo.
If it sounds that way in the host before the encoding, maybe you should try to redo the mixing, starting with lowering the levels so that it renders non clipping, and only afterwards applying a mastering compression.

YES!!!
This is the best song I've heard in a long time via a recording forum. I love it.

It IS overcompressed and harsh, though. If you re-do this with better levels and have it professionally mastered, it will absolutely rule. I love the lyrics and vocals. Reminds me of "Astronomy Domine" by Floyd. Awesome.

That hi-hat is harsh, too... All in all though, a VERY powerful song. I'm not worthy :!:
