Suppose this should go in FX forum, but it's not a plugin, and probably no-one cares, so this goes into Off-Topic!

WOW the wait is over, the lust can end, IT'S HERE, sitting in my greedy little hands this very moment.

Don't be fooled by the name '16 Second', that is only there for historical and marketing purposes.

This reissue can record and loop over 4 minutes!

Other goodies not found in the legendary original:

20-bit d/a and a/d converters

MIDI out (yeah baby)

Unlimited overdub, even in reverse

Non-volitile memory

Adjust tempo without affecting pitch

and lots more too.

I'm a happy boy today :D

I received something today too...my repaired Dynaudio BM6A monitor (one was faulty when I bought the pair) :D

God, I love Electro harmonix..

Sweet.

I like EH effects. They have character.

Hm. I don't have any guitars but I do have a bunch of pedals. Hog's Foot, Small Stone. Couple more. Wonder what they fetch on ebay.

But you'll never get my Electric Mistress. Sweetest flanger ever built. Wonder what it would take to emulate that in software.

hehe, I love 'em too, but not everyone does, that's for sure

I kinda think of them as the Ohm Force of stompboxes (minus all the cool LFO's of course)

I have a Mistress too, was the second EH box I ever bought. Like you, I'll never, ever, ever part with it!

If you are interested in selling some of those others however, I would probably be interested, if they are in good shape. I'm interested in the Hog's Foot, as well as the Small Stone, depending on the vintage of the latter. They have at least 4 incarnations of that pedal, I have one of them and would like to add a couple of the older ones to my EH collection.

Anyway, if you would ever consider parting with an EH box, let me know. I'd be curious to hear what other ones you have.

oh yeah, in case you can't tell from the pic, this one gets extra 'cool' points for being in a black case. All the other EH boxes of this form factor are stainless steel.

I love EH too...the problem is I can't find all the boxes here (found only these Russian models of Big Muff and Smallstone)...

I've seen a lot of EH boxes on Ebay that are selling from European locales. A lot from Germany, but other places too.

Ebay constantly has a huge pile of their units up for auction, so this may be helpful to you.

If you can, get a Tube Zipper (greatest box ever), or if you like envelope following filters, the Q-Tron+ is a complete modernization of the Mu-Tron III, even designed for EH by the original man behind the Mu-Tron, Mike Beagel. It's much quieter, has an FX loop after the envelope detector (super cool), new filter modes, and a filter response speed switch. Pretty much killed my lust for a Mu-Tron III in a nanosecond.

Now if I can find something to kill my lust for the Bi-Phase. I think I'm gonna take a shot at building one (I have the schematics, and I know where I can buy a PCB for it)

Cheerio

I used to have "Bass Balls" or whatever it was called (yeah, I know, "but I'm alright now"...)

It actually wasn't that useful because the sound was SO disctinctive. Nice though! :D

Ah yes, I have a "Dr Q" for that authentic disco "waka waka" rhythm guitar sound.

My favourite is the Bass Balls, an envelope follower for bass. Instant Bootsy!
