I find the simple switch I am trying to use is not suitable for producing a steady kick on the spd 6. It is very difficult to maintain any kind of consistent pulse using it. The switch is made by Bespeco, but is identical to the Boss FS-5U. I'm thinking of putting it in some kind of rig, perhaps with a kick pedal from an acoustic kit. I haven't found any pointers on this option so far, and I have looked for over an hour.
Is there an satisfactory alternative to the FS-5U , or a mod which would make it better than trying to hit a flat, unresponsive switch for twenty minutes at a time?
Thanks much for any help on this,
e.

I would say that you should get a proper kick trigger from a real electronic kit, and a kick pedal.

Unfortunately, the spd 6 won't respond to that type of trigger, otherwise I definitely would...get a proper kick trigger
Thanks anyway,
