Can we get auto slice points on dB level?

Actually if you could implement this where the GUI shows the slice points (before committing) and we get the option (a button) to invoke the slice points, that would be fantastic!!

Also, a slice mode where left click for slice points (cues) happens and a right click removes the current slice point would be super too.

The other handy thing is the software had the ability to generate the groove based on slice points/cues if desired on the piano roll.

All of these features make it sooo much quicker to work.

Here is an example from a defunct software:

Perhaps. Yet he was able to respond to this thread http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 7#p6278567 in that timeframe.

But no worries..

Have you tried email? This forum isn't technically an official place to request/report, but as DarkStar suggested, he's probably busy.

To give specifics to my previous post about Bliss not loading large programs: salamander grand, ivy 162, etc, ones that used to load sometimes (with beta 3, dont think beta4 worked either). Anyone else experiencing this?

EDIT: also, cant load plugins inside bliss, at least any that have latency. which are most

Hi there,

I am very interested and excited about this sampler! It sounds like a dream, especially for those who want to sample their VSTi for any projects.

I do have 2 questions that I really hope you can answer please!

1) Will Bliss ever provide 24bit WAV export options for VSTi or otherwise? 16bit only? I see 24bit FLAC?

2) Any chance the length of sample could increase? It seems to not let me sample for longer than 20 seconds per sample. Is this fixed for a reason? Could it be lifted to 30+ or is that simply not something worth looking into from your perspective?

Thanks so much for the feedback! Can't wait until this puppy is outta Beta!

It's providing 24-bit WAV with SFZ export already :)

Yes, increasing the length is very easy to change, but may I ask why? 30+ seconds of sampling per note seems very large length and right know I don't know what's the purpose.

Ahhh, I'm so excited :) Thanks for the quick feedback!

Honestly, I really hope that there is an option in the future to adjust Bliss sample length to at least 30 seconds (is there a theoretical limit or just the end user's CPU/PC?) because not only would that set the sampler apart from others on the market but, for me at least, doing a lot of field/experimental recordings, a LOT can happen when you start sampling "real - life" and not just VSTi :) Some of us like to make crazy soundscapes and Bliss would be an AMAZING tool.

But even in VSTi land, in my humble opinion, evolving sounds can be handy every now and then. Sure you won't use 30 or 60 second max sample lengths all the time, but why not allow it? It's a huge bonus selling point I say. Be the best out there! Perhaps you can consider that setting in a future build? I don't know if you need to set a sample max limit for CPU or to prevent the program from crashing, but I think 30-60 seconds would be nice. If it's easy to change :) Why not?

It's nice that Bliss uses the system browser. However it would be very appreciated with a built in customizable preset/audio browser.

Browsing is a rather big and important part in an instrument like Bliss. Therefore I think it's a good idea to spend a little work on that. :-)

Until we are 7 days older maybe :hyper:

I still haven't bought this.. waiting to see if the slicing additions make it in.
