Linplug RM IV and FL

ok, now that I learned how to get the individual manuals of the B4 working in FL I have a question about the RM IV. I can play all the pattern through the indiv notes in the pianoroll no matter if it´s the RM channel or a midi-out channel triggering the RM IV. Problem: The trigger note specified in the RM does NOT correspond with the note I have to enter in the pianoroll! For example if I have the midi-out channel set to root-note C5 and set linplug says basedrum C1 it plays if I enter C3 in the pianoroll. This is not a joke. I am really confused here. Is there any way I can make a note in FL correspond with the note(trigger) in the RM? What am I doing wrong?

Yes, change the root note in FL to C6 or C7. Save a channel preset after you done - you can reuse it later without having to remember any of that.

C6 or C7? Which one?

Try either. One of them will make it correspond to RM documentation - it was most likely written for Cubase in mind, which has a different midi note for C5 (all midi notes are numbered - FL and Cubase have a different idea which one is the middle C5).

yea, RM4 documentation has cubase pictures in it and might be refering to cubase´s C. Now I got it to work BUT:
RM4 does not remember which samples were loaded for the song! Everytime I open up the FL projekt, RM4 loads but with an empty library! How do I make it remember what was loaded? any FL command or special thing I have to save?

What version of FL are you using?
In any case - wrapper should have "Allow program editing" selected if VST fails to save the setting under default conditions.

ok, works now. I switched on "Allow program editing" that was it.
Another thing: When the FL project loads I hear no sound from the RM4 until I click on the track containing the RM4 module. It seems as if it has to be "activated" before it actually plays. Any way to automate this?

I don't know. Such behaviour is not a common thing. I don't have any VST instruments that exibit thos.
