Just want to echo the M5 owners angle on this. Especially as I only bought it a few months back... I could have waited if I knew this was coming!

So, desperate for an upgrade price, otherwise it does feel like a mistake to have paid for M5. Although the intro price for Falcon seems reasonable for new buyers and I would have been all over it if I hadn't already bought M5. Now a bit stuck, as this is very similar, can't really justify the expense, yet may end up wanting/needing it as a M5 replacement down the line (when the price is hiked!)

Dammit Simon. I can see the writing on the wall. I know how it will go...I'll watch the Dan Worral video, I'll turn into a zombie, and log straight into Paypal...

Here is a first video with one of the patches I made for the factory library using the physical modeling module. At the time of the video production the GUI wasn't fully re-dedigned so it looks different than in the release version, but the sound is identical.

Can you import own wavetables or transform samples to wavetables or is it limited to the factory wavetables ?

And my patch Cosmic Grain Pad from the UVI falcon factory library using the new granular engine with multiple grain streams, at the time of the video production during Beta phase, the GUI wasn't yet fully re-designed, so it looks different from the release version.

Me too - this is essentially M5 plus some more modules and fx. Many of the modules are the same.

I wonder if this is possible -- someone orders Falcon, gets the 100 dollar voucher, gives the code to someone who who orders Falcon for 100 dollars off, gets the 100 dollar voucher, either gives the code back to the original party or keeps it going, thus getting everyone thereafter 100 dollars off.

I was fairly late in the game joining the beta team, but one of things I really appreciate is having an absolutely amazing reverb right there. A lot of sounds you make aren't necessarily very reverb dependent, but for those that are this is so refreshing. At one point I had over a 100 instances of Falcon in a project, each with reverb, and my CPU was sitting at 20%. So you get this amazing sound that really is very efficient. I was mostly working with the wavetable and FM oscillators, and can't speak much on the others, but I'm super thrilled about Falcon.

You can import wavetables e.g. from Serum or make single cycles from imported samples (like in MachFive) or transform images inti wavetables (very useful), so it's more a wavetable player, not wavetable editor, I'll post some wavetable demos in a minute.
