Discovered the BBC were doing this as a Halloween special... a broadcast of a new radio play version of the 70's BBC classic 'The Stone Tape' written by the author of Quatermass. The interesting bit is that theyre doing a binaural version....

They're also doing the same with what appears to be a version of the more modern Japanese classic horror 'The Ring'.

Not one for radio plays myself normally, but I think I'll make an exception for these.

Interesting! Ring (original Japanese movie I'm talking about) is a highly visual affair so I wonder how they've translated it to a radio play? I'll be sure to listen to this - thanks for the heads up.whyterabbyt wrote:Discovered the BBC were doing this as a Halloween special... a broadcast of a new radio play version of the 70's BBC classic 'The Stone Tape' written by the author of Quatermass.
