---- Anyone able to locate the ' Falcon Tutorial.ufs file' ?
OSX installer did not include it.

Also : Where are the REX 1.7 Library files installed that come in the Extras Folder ?
The installer gives no clue of where the files were installed.
And I could not find them with search.
The tutorial UFS will be available when we will update the manual with the tutorial chapters. Hopefully very soon.

REX 1.7 stuff are installed in the system as this is a DLL (C:\Windows\System32)

Hope this clarify things.

The way Layer Unison is done is less practical for simpler case but allows a lot of tweak like
different cutoff, resonance, Phase distortion, ... actually any oscillator or Keygroup FX parameter.

For simpler use case, we indeed advise to use built in oscillator unison.

The line between which oscillator should have it and which shouldn't is indeed very arbitrary but we wanted
to keep things simple.

Analog stack is basically Analog oscillator but where you can tweak all voices differently, so it make less sense
to have a unison option here.
This could be useful for FM though

Please note that Unison in oscillator and layer unison do not the same thing as Oscillator unison
runs multiple time this oscillator while Layer unison will running all the voice topology multiple time including filter and all keygroup FX.

Hope this clarify things.
Thanks, it is clear to me, but I write it bad. I want write "it would be great if all oscilators will have all phase options for Layer unison". I make picture how I imagine it.

Ok, in this case I abandon the Halloween coupon @ Bestservice idea that's ending today in hope for a better crossgrade deal with my MachFive 3.

Yeah that's the dilemma. Oh well.

No! The local state laws are above any other rules. There is no federal legislation about this as far as I know at least with these kind of downloads and serials etc.

Physical goods will be have added VAT automatically when they arrive in EU.

It also loads MF2 patches !!!!
I think this is due to local state laws. Isn't JRR and Audiodeluxe both located in California?

"Early next week" has become before the end of the week.....

I'm not sure what's so hard about this? IMO we M53 users should have been addressed first, not after a great deal is given to new users. This would relieve the problem UVI is likely experiencing now of whether to give a cash discount or another voucher.

IMO something on the lines of +/- $175 for M53 owners within the same introductory period and +/-$300 afterwards isn't a huge discount, but had you introduced it at the time Falcom came out I'm sure your upgrade customers would be substantially higher. As it stands we're torn between waiting until after a $27 discount expires and close to the end of the introductory offer period and buying now.

I don't want or need more vouchers, and IMO that's the most likely thing UVI will come up with, since it addresses people who already bought it as well as those who have not. Thing is I do want Falcon, but I don't want to pay more than I have to, it's an upgrade for me, not a new instrument.

I like UVI, you in particular have been very cool, but this is crap really, why should people who have supported the development of Falcon by buying M53 (and flowing money into UVI's bank accounts through MOTU etc.) wait longer, pass up deals, and have less time to make a decision with all the facts out there than new customers? UVI has literally made it more painful for existing users than their new ones, which was a totally avoidable situation. I repeat none of this should have played out like this, with all this uncertainty for the existing user base of your code.

*scratching my head*

Difficult decision. :?

AND there's one thing I haven't seen mentioned at all (Ok, I haven't read the whole thread, maybe this has been clarified before):
You get a $100 voucher for a UVI library with the purchase of Falcon.
As I already own lots of UVI libraries I don't think I need this voucher right now.
If I could sell it for less than $100 to another user here (anyone interested before I do the purchase? :hyper: ) then I would get some bucks from the voucher back at least.
Does anyone have info about that?
I see your dilemma but unfortunately I don't think there will be an extra discount but probably just a higher voucher amount . The problem is that they stated that this will include both owners of Machfive that already purchased Falcon and those that didn't.

Think if they decided that the Machfive owners would get a discount of $75 for example. This is of course no problem for Machfive owners not having purchased Falcon yet. But what would you with the rest? I seriously don't think that they will ask for your paypal account number or VISA card number and give you a refund. The resellers have already gotten their share and maybe they don't get the same revenue because of different agreements and physical locations. This would obviously be a mess.

And giving an extra voucher for UVI libraries for Machfive owners having already purchased Falcon while the others get a discount instead would probably make the formers furious.

So what is the solution? Give the same discount for UVI libraries or for upcomming Falcon libraries .

The only way to give Facon buyers a discount but not those that already own the library would be to have a lower discount if upgrading but a much higher voucher code if not getting the discount.

If the voucher would be $200 and the discount $50 maybe the owners having Falcon now wouldn't be so unhappy about having purchased already. Then the rest could decide if they want to purchase with the discount or get a higher voucher code.

This is of course just speculation from my point of view. I'm just thinking what I would have done in this situation 8)
And that would have been not to put myself in this situation :hihi:
