The error in this thinking is that $239 (or $229 as I've seen actually) is the price for the FULL Falcon for ANYONE who has not paid anything to UVI or MOTU before.

he's already had this fallacious thinking pointed out to him at least once (by me), but he continues to peddle this incredibly weak argument.

anyway, he's bought it now, and like everyone else who has bought it taking part in this line of discussion - they argue in favour of what will benefit themselves the most... i.e vouchers for all, as opposed to an actual cash discount for those who were patient enough to wait.

whatever the probability is, one should argue in favour of what is right ... not resign to the most pessimistic scenario before it has even happened. you do that, you essentially indicate that this is what you are already accepting.

I just received an email from UVI with a crossgrade offer from MachFive 3 to Falcon for 179$ valid on UVI website until February 2016! The offer should be seen in my account when I log in.

We're happy to announce a cross-grade offer to help legacy customers migrate to Falcon.
Eligible UVI accounts will automatically reflect a new cross-grade price of $179.
This price is valid for 3 months and will end on February 1st, 2016.

Please note that due to the significant discount it will not stack with store-wide sales (e.g. Black Friday etc.).

For those eligible that have already made the jump, you’ll be receiving a $100 voucher via email (also available in the "My Vouchers" section of your uvi.net account)
This voucher is unrestricted. It's good towards any purchase at uvi.net, including effects, and is valid through May 1st, 2016.

Do you mean that if I buy it instead on a reseller until November 9th, I could get a 100$ Voucher on top of the other 100$ already available, but if I buy it on your website, I get 50$ rebate and the 100$ voucher already available?

The additional 100$ is only for the people who bought it before this offer.

Doesn't affect me as I am not a Mach user, but I assume you emailed this offer to everyone who is?
Rather than assume every mach user is here on kvr and have just read this offer?

Sorry - but could you please state clearly what "legacy customers" means here?

I am an owner of MachFive 3, plus $100s worth of UVI products, but I do not see the crossgrade price once I put Falcon into my shopping cart? I know you've requested that we email you directly, but I think a clear statement of who is eligible for this crossgrade would benefit all interested readers of this thread?

But are you shure that there is some one to read the mails?

Tried again a few minutes ago and will wait again.

My last try to contact last week via support seem not to work till today.

As a MachFive 3 customer, I have some questions about the discount now.
What does "Legacy customers" mean exactly?
Why don't I see the discount in my UVI account?
How will UVI recognize that I own MachFive at all?
Will my three E-mails I sent already more than 1 week ago be answered before November 9th, when the discount ends?
