would like to introduce Songtree - a new app community aimed at creating music online.

it is available on iOS (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/songtre ... &ls=1&mt=8) or Android (and soon Windows/Mac) app.

people can record and upload a track, which other people can overdub and each overdub creates a new branch in a tree of songs that is gradually formed - sort of Github meets Soundcloud.

musicians have already created interesting trees of song and we are highlighting them every month in this page: http://songtr.ee/highlights

we are working on making easier for more experienced users to record using their existing audio software (instead of relying exclusively on the audio recorder built into the iOS app) with the upcoming updates - right now it supports the beta of n-Track Studio v8, audio interfaces and importing / exporting tracks viaAudiobus, Inter-app audio, Audiocopy, Open In, Pasteboard (see: http://songtr.ee/faq.php?category=7&showAll=1 )
