Everyone who buys Falcon receives a voucher.
So if you bought Falcon a few days ago AND you already owned MachFive3, you will get an additional voucher? Which means you will receive TWO $100 vouchers?
Do I have it right?

Ah.. that explains it. Thanks! Looking forward to testing Falcon and perhaps developing some sound libraries for it. I've always liked these kinds of powerful hybrid synths that contain everything in one interface.otristan wrote:The 100$ voucher is actually sent when you registerbmanic wrote:Hmm.. what's going on with the 100$ voucher? I thought you get one of those when buying Falcon. Did I miss some deadline or something? Granted, I have not downloaded nor registered the plugin yet but I assumed you get it immediately after purchase.
Cheers!

For just in case, there is old MachFive3 simple trick which cause stable crash, and who already have Falcon can check it (this bug has not been fixed in MF3). I just copy\paste it from my Motu Troubleshooting section.
===
Steps to reproduce:
1. Load Machfive 3.
2. Make any empty instrument from [Sample] category (let it be Sample instrument). Will be automatically created "Keygroup 1"
3. Then just DOUBLE click on this empty Keygroup field (via left or right mouse button, the same), it will cause an error\crash in daw.
OS: Windows7 32bit
Machfive3 v3.2.1 32bit, reproduced in VST and Standalone
In all tested daw`s: Studio One 2, Ableton 9, Plogue Bidule.
===
But perhaps that this was reproduced only in win32bit environment, who knows.

Yes. At least that's what I'm seeing. I'm likely to get Sparkverb with it, and it even asks you at checkout if you want to apply both coupons!Apostrophe wrote:Everyone who buys Falcon receives a voucher.

A little bragging rights. I bought from Best Service thinking the best we could expect from UVI is about $175.
Best Service came in at $208, UVI came in at $179. I paid $29 for a $100 voucher!

So.. I finally got Falcon installed and authorized and wanted to start messing about with the factory content. However, I immediately hit a bump in the road. Is it not possible to get to the individual samples in the factory library? Are all the UVI libraries "locked" libraries so that you can not get to the samples?

Thanks.. I was afraid of that. Damn. Such a shame. If there's a library that should always be exposed it should be factory library because then people who want to start creating cheap sound libraries could easily start working right away and it'd cut down significantly on costs if we could use the factory library easily (provided that the license of the synth grants this right).focusrite wrote:bmanic wrote:So.. This immediately makes Falcon much less of a "rompler" and much more like Kontakt. Too bad.. it could have been both.
This means I have to start chopping up and going through my own sample library and potentially create tons of new samples which naturally adds significantly to the cost of any potential library. Would have loved to create some cheap libraries using the factory content to start with. This is a real missed opportunity by UVI in my opinion.
The way Camel Audio (now Apple) does it with Alchemy is way better and much more flexible. It also adds a helluva lot more value to the product. Had I known this I'd probably have thought about my purchase a bit more. Oh well.. live and learn.

If I click on new created wavetable, Falcon crash. If i drag wavetable file from windows explorer and drag it into wavetable osc, it is working without crash.
Thanks !
Btw. If I add modulation (ADSR, DHADSR, MultiEnvelope.. etc.) for any Filter, Chorus, (I not try all FXs) under Layer, It is not working except LFO and MidiCC.

Another quick question to the sound designers/developers:
Is there a quick way of finding out what modulators modulate? I mean, I want to find all the places that Modwheel is assigned to in a patch. In Alchemy you would hit the "TARGET" button and you get a list of what modulation source is modulating where.
In complex patches you easily forget where you assigned stuff and it's vital to be able to quickly search for the modulation sources destinations. Is there a way to get a list of all the mod sources and what they modulate? So far I've only found the tedious way of checking each purple knob separately. Surely there must be a better way, no?

You can see this in the treeview with internal mod source by opening their node. not available for external mod like MIDI cc howeverbmanic wrote:Another quick question to the sound designers/developers:

You can still access all the factory wavetables and pluck excitations easily.bmanic wrote:So.. For the others you need indeed to start with the preset using it.
