It's useless try to sell IK Products on market place?

(I think that there's a thread that discuss the point of companies that have some kind of constant sales going on, if you guys think that this thread is repeated or worthless, just delete it!)
Well, my system now runs on 64 bit, so my sampletank libraries doesn't work anymore. I thought about selling my ik products, and they're bundled together (Total Studio). If my internet researchs are right, te last promo was on december last year, U$99) for the bundle.
So, with these constant promos, it seems that it's almost worthless trying to sell IK products second hand. What do you guys think about?

Of course they work but if you don't want to bitbridge that's another thing.waltercruz wrote:Well, my system now runs on 64 bit, so my sampletank libraries doesn't work anymore.
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Yes, this is what I will do @Orbit-50.
I know that the relashionship with the companies is a subjective matter, but what otter companies act similar? In a sense that you felt disrespectful to you?

The stupid idiotic dinosaur logo, way, way better alternatives from other developers, their arrogant customer service and that garbage custom shop was the final straw. I don't like to be forced to install adware in my music software. It's pathetic, desperate marketing at it's best. Not into that. Made it easy to just toss the discs and move on.waltercruz wrote:Yes, this is what I will do @Orbit-50.

I'm still sitting on the Black 76 and White 2A compressors that I bought for $198 when they were released.
Now they're worth about $25-$30 on the market place each.
Minus a transfer fee of 19.99€ + 21% VAT = over 24€.
Each.
Which would basically leave me with peanuts like $1 each.
Minus PayPal fees each.
Together worth $200 on release day, together worth $2 now.
And apparently I don't seem to be the only one who thinks their general attitude towards customers is that of someone who's doing too well. The best thing you can do with IK Multimedia plugins is not buy them at all.

I feel horrible for you. I tapped out well before all of that. As soon as that custom shop thing came about, I looked for the exit sign.chokehold wrote:I'm still sitting on the Black 76 and White 2A compressors that I bought for $198 when they were released.

If you just want to get rid of it and move on, that's one thing. But regardless of IKM's marketing issues, you're still trying to sell some very old technology. You've moved on to x64, along with many, many others. What makes you think there would be a tremendous market for an old x32 vst?
Now, if you actually LIKE the old ST2.5, you can, I believe, get an SE version of ST3 that would allow you to play those libraries. It would cost you a bit of cash, but you'd still be able to use your familiar libraries.
Cheers

Ouch, such a bad situation
I've seen my paypal history and I paid 249,99 on total studio on september 20 2012. Maybe I could sell them by something like $100 (like their last promo)? Do you guys think that someone would pay $100 for it?

Not that I like or dislike ST2.5. I'm on a bad financial situation (even got a eviction from the real estate office). I really like Amplitube and some T-Racks modules. I intended to sell Total Studio to buy some things to me and some other billsBERFAB wrote:If you just want to get rid of it and move on, that's one thing. IKM was never a good investment to begin with .. had to learn that lesson the hard way myself. First they're trying to rip you off left and right and once you realize that - their software isn't worth jack shit second hand.waltercruz wrote:What do you guys think about?
I've sworn to now only stick to companies with a good Rep and that hold a certain value - people willing to buy something off you second hand for next to what you've payed in the first place .. that's usually a keeper!
