OK - perhaps it should do that just once when first started up.
Anyway I am loving the pluck osc - I can see myself making lots of patches just for that as I love physical modelling and this is a nice implementation - reminds me of Kaivo but simpler to get a good sound from.

Trying to decide what to use the coupon on - the Orchestral Suite looks nice. Anyone got it? Also the world instruments one maybe. Not sure if anything else really interests me - I do not want sampled synths. Pity there is nothing else like Biosphere.

Is that even allowed? I thought the voucher was tied to the user account .Daags wrote:sell the voucher

Well, I delivered them alright.aMUSEd wrote:OK I have just installed this (thanks again for the M5 crossgrade)
Not sure if anyone else has reported this but the first experimental patch "Ambient pad quencer" is giving me this message
I have the Falcon UFS mounted so why is it missing? More importantly when I run the search function it crashes in standalone.
EDIT actually the whole bank is reporting missing samples!

Earlier in this thread, it was stated that the vouchers are non-transferable.paulmatthew wrote:Is that even allowed? I thought the voucher was tied to the user account .Daags wrote:sell the voucher
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

Four Falcons in an ambient groove sort of track - wavetable pad meets sequenced pluck synth meets drum synth meets multi-granular - 100% Falcon:

Excellent! What's the CPU usage of the 4 instances?Sampleconstruct wrote:Four Falcons in an ambient groove sort of track - wavetable pad meets sequenced pluck synth meets drum synth meets multi-granular - 100% Falcon:

Easy, not much, the most demanding is the wavetable pad with 4 unison voices, but it still plays fine at a buffer of 64 samples with polyphony set to 56 voices so the release phases aren't cut off. That's in Logic 10.2 where only one core can be used per plug-in, but the MacPro is fast. One just has to select an empty track when not tracking because Logic's standby mode eats up a lot of CPU.wagtunes wrote:Excellent! Just finished installing Falcon this evening. Wow, this is really nice! Very impressive instrument. Great job, UVI!
Also trying out the Patchpool MachFive sounds that I got in the Charity auction the other day. These are super great as well!
Between the factory sounds and Simon's additional patches as well as my existing UVI libraries I think I'm going to be pretty busy for the next while. This will really give me something to dig into, especially over the coming holidays. Happy Patchpool and UVI camper here!

Wow, the factory library has gone completely nuts on reverb, really takes me back to cheesy 80's synth demos.
Maybe the sound designers just really enjoy finally having a decent reverb for change?

This is an engine limitation.woodsdenis wrote:To hopefully get this back on topic...
Can anyone give a reason why a layer or program gain can't be modulated by an ADSR of any type ? or is there a workaround ?
I can see there is no note trigger happening.
Only voice level (aka keygroup and below) parameters will handle modulation which requires triggering (like ADSR)
Layer and Program FX parameters will only handle modulation which are free running.
