So you have technically 16 axes as each MIDI CC can be assigned to a unique MIDI key with 128 values.
So using this and falcon script you can modulate 4 different parameters : volume, pan, pitch and a bonus one using an encoded poly aftertouch.

4 polyphonic axes is already quite powerful imho :)
Not sure you can control that much in realtime

Not sure I get what you mean here.
As far as I see it there are two limitations

a) modulation targeting. ( most critical)
Per voice we only get pitch, pan, volume and poly pressure. And of these poly pressure is the only one we can use to target other synth parameters eg in something like Aalto I might use pressure to target fm modulator and y to target cutoff freq

B) using lua/scripting
This will 'get the job done' but is a bit inconvenient eg sharing patches, and probably not as efficient as direct modulation sources.

So I have to decide if I can live with this, I think part of this is ... Is this a stop gap solution , will UVI add something like MPE support or is this the final solution?

Falcon looks like a great synth, but given I have so many, I tend to use voice per channel/MPE as a criteria to control my GAS :)

Here are my Feature-Request:

- VST3 Support
- stepless resizable GUI like the standalone version in VST-Version
- a better loopsection with autoloop and values input via PC-Keyboard and more Loops e. g. eight loops like in
Kontakt
- Vectorsynthesis
- Wavesequencing like Korg Wavestation
- Import more Sampleformats (Kontakt, E-Mu, Roland, AKAI, ex24 etc.)
- Arpeggiator Midi-Out
- a Vocoder in the effectsection
- more factorysounds (look MachFive or Halion 5)
- DX7 kompatible 6 operator FM-Synthesis

Very nice :tu:

We plan to add other script driven polyphonic modulation source.
For MPE, I honestly haven't checked the specs yet.
I suppose this is going to be a Standalone thing only before any DAW includes this

Can stand-alone be linked to DAW now with virtual midi cable like loopBe30? Does current stand-alone have more features than current vst?

No, the standalone is identical feature-wise, only difference: you can freely re-size it, in your DAW you have 3 sizes to choose from.

After checking the MPE specs a bit is seems backward compatible with current MIDI so not a standalone thing only.

The Gamelan plucker sound appears to be microtuned but I can't see where it's being microtuned as it doesn't seem to have a microtuner event processor.

Also finding it a bit annoying that if I go to another panel (eg Event processors) when I come back to the preset library tab I have lost my place - please make it stay open.

Keygroup -> pitch -> key follow - >percentage, I think I only used it on the Gamelan plucker, not sure though.

Ah thanks - so not using the event processor. I wondered if it was hidden away somewhere. Thanks - lovely patch anyway.

Thank's, the model synth is such a great addition in Falcon!

Another limitation of the VST is, that you can't set the surround mode manually as you can in the standalone.

Yes, my main reason for buying it actually, otherwise I may have stuck longer with MachFive.

To add to this: you can also set different key follow ratios to various parameters in the pluck module (e.g. harmonics or Inharmonicity) to create some really interesting harmonics/shifting tunings.
