Just bought this & been playing with it for a few hours, really like it. One or two disappointments though. You can't access the samples of the uvi banks to make your own patches like you can in omnisphere. I can't see a way to set the oscillator volume individually or sometimes even the tuning without the inspector. The analog oscillator is very basic, no way to sync fm or phase mod to another oscillator. FM oscillators also very basic. Needs a mixer section for layers imo.

Check the oscillator panel, it's all there. You can also use multiple oscillators per keygroup.

Not sure if this has already been asked. As Falcon can open other UVI instruments (like CS-M, WaveRunner, Mello, and other stuff), can it access samples/wavetables/loops/etc from those instruments? Can it do deep editing on them? Can I use resources from other UVI instruments to create my own patches?
Peace, my friends. I'm not seeking arguments here.

That's what i mean changing gain, course tune etc will affects all oscillators within the keygroup you can't set independently.Sampleconstruct wrote:Check the oscillator panel, it's all there. You can also use multiple oscillators per keygroup.

So create a new keygroup and overlay it with the other one then?

Or they could just add a gain & tune to the oscillator. Keygroups really should be for mapping keys.EvilDragon wrote:So create a new keygroup and overlay it with the other one then?

Each osc has individual gain and tuning. Click on the link icon to unlink the oscs. Then you can adjust them independently.

Open your eyes, you're searching on keygroup level, go one level down.nrosko wrote:That's what i mean changing gain, course tune etc will affects all oscillators within the keygroup you can't set independently.Sampleconstruct wrote:Check the oscillator panel, it's all there. I am still just getting used to Falcon, but I just now tried loading Digital Synsations into it, and was able to see the separate samples for the preset I selected.poonna wrote:Not sure if this has already been asked. Right-clicking any of the waveforms brings you a menu with choices of cut, copy, crop, paste, normalize, fade in/out, reverse, silence, enable XFade, and more.

If somebody can show me how to get Camtasia 7 to work with Cubase 7 so that I can record my voice AND the sounds coming from Falcon together, I'd be happy to make some tutorials. I've gone to Steinberg but nobody there seems to be able to help and I can't get it to work on my own.Caine123 wrote:we definitely need some tutorials

Here is a quick demonstration (without sound) on how to add and independently tune 3 oscillators to/in a single keygroup.

Greg, thank you sooooo much. Do you yourself use this?Greg Houston wrote:VoiceMeeter is your missing link.wagtunes wrote:If somebody can show me how to get Camtasia 7 to work with Cubase 7 so that I can record my voice AND the sounds coming from Falcon together, I'd be happy to make some tutorials.
