I know, right? It is actually a pick-shaped charger for watch and hearing aid batteries. Who knew those could be recharged??? (for those who didn't pick up the sarcasm - of course it isn't this)

It could be some kind of pick-up for acoustic instruments that's plugged into a mobile device for direct recording. Some sort of microphone replacement...

My guess is that it's some kind of strum and picking controller. I guess another option is another type of pressure controller for changing parameters in realtime by just holding and squeezing it?
