Just a remark: the benefit of using several ocs within the same keygroup is to share e.g. the same envelopes and filters, especially layering several independent keygroups which e.g. use the Xpander filters can be quite demanding on the CPU as those filters are somewhat hungry, so instead of using 3 filters for 3 synths in 3 keygroups, use one filter for 3 synths in one keygroup, you can still control their volumes independently on oscillator level and even assign LFOs/Macros to each for volume/pitch control.

I have in the past, but not recently. Do a Google search for Cubase and VoiceMeeter. Setup will be the same regardless of the screencasting software you are using.wagtunes wrote:Greg, thank you sooooo much. Do you yourself use this?Greg Houston wrote:VoiceMeeter is your missing link.wagtunes wrote:If somebody can show me how to get Camtasia 7 to work with Cubase 7 so that I can record my voice AND the sounds coming from Falcon together, I'd be happy to make some tutorials. I've gone to Steinberg but nobody there seems to be able to help and I can't get it to work on my own.

Something more cinematic, layering multi-granular and sampling oscillators using processed acoustic guitar scapes, split across the keyboard (2 scapes/drones in each layer). 14 Macros automated in Logic, aftertouch (->grain position) and modulation wheel (grain detune) recorded while playing.

Thanks!Examigan wrote:I am still just getting used to Falcon, but I just now tried loading Digital Synsations into it, and was able to see the separate samples for the preset I selected.poonna wrote:Not sure if this has already been asked. As Falcon can open other UVI instruments (like CS-M, WaveRunner, Mello, and other stuff), can it access samples/wavetables/loops/etc from those instruments? Can it do deep editing on them? Can I use resources from other UVI instruments to create my own patches?
Right-clicking any of the waveforms brings you a menu with choices of cut, copy, crop, paste, normalize, fade in/out, reverse, silence, enable XFade, and more.
So I assume that I can copy the samples/wavetables from those instruments to create a new patch. Just wondering what to do with the $100 coupon.
Peace, my friends. I'm not seeking arguments here.

That's an incredible sound!Sampleconstruct wrote:Something more cinematic, layering multi-granular and sampling oscillators using processed acoustic guitar scapes, split across the keyboard (2 scapes/drones in each layer). 14 Macros automated in Logic, aftertouch (->grain position) and modulation wheel (grain detune) recorded while playing.

Not sure if that helps but at the "Oscillators" tab for a keygroup there is a "chain" symbol at the left of the "Pitch" knob. If this is activated (blue color) the tuning and gain knobs work for all oscillators in that keygroup. If you deactivate that "chain" symbol (color schanges to grey) for couldset tune and gain individually for each oscillator.nrosko wrote:That's what i mean changing gain, course tune etc will affects all oscillators within the keygroup you can't set independently.Sampleconstruct wrote:Check the oscillator panel, it's all there. You can also use multiple oscillators per keygroup.
Same is true about adding modulation with that symbol/switch activated for example an envelope will modulate that parameter (e.g. Gain or Pitch) for all oscillators in that keygroup. With that switch off you could use different envelopes for each oscillator (or only use that envelope for one of them).

But round robins in Falcon happen on layer level (not on keygroup level), so I'm not sure what you're referring to.EvilDragon wrote:Sampleconstruct wrote:Just a remark: the benefit of using several ocs within the same keygroup is to share e.g. the same envelopes and filters, especially layering several independent keygroups which e.g. use the Xpander filters can be quite demanding on the CPU as those filters are somewhat hungry, so instead of using 3 filters for 3 synths in 3 keygroups, use one filter for 3 synths in one keygroup, you can still control their volumes independently on oscillator level and even assign LFOs/Macros to each for volume/pitch control.

Just unclick the "edit all oscillators" button (most left one) in the oscillator common panel.nrosko wrote:That's what i mean changing gain, course tune etc will affects all oscillators within the keygroup you can't set independently.Sampleconstruct wrote:Check the oscillator panel, it's all there. Beta access is only for beta testers.Musical Gym wrote:Can owners get access to betas? You could start a beta thread for bug reports.otristan wrote:FWIW, next version will have a better support of .wt wavetable
We will try to release it this week so you are not going to have to wait much.

Indeed. I guess i missed that somehow as the post/question of nrosko was not quoted in those replies.Sampleconstruct wrote: As demonstrated in the above video and mentioned by Greg before that.
Anyway this was one of the main issues i had when starting with Falcon but found the solution quite fast (actually without checking this in the manual).
