Does Cubase SX Do Automation Grouping?

One of the things I love about Reason is how you can take an automation track and using the pencil tool you can turn it into a group. Then you can cut/paste the automation anywhere in the track. This a great feature!

I just started playing around with FX Channel automation in Cubase SX the other day. It looks like you have to record the parameter automation and then enable 'Read Automation' to hear the changes. Well thats all good, but does anyone know if you can group the automation into a segment like you can in Reason?

You can do both in Cubase, recording and drawing manually. You can also copy/paste automation..at least in 2.0.

Ok cool... I will have to read up on the cutting/pasting part...
