My experience was ver much the same . Studio One loads up 3-4 times faster than Ableton . I'm very happy with my new DAW so far . Looks I'll be rewiring Ableton and using as a tool and not a DAW anymore . I love the drum rack as you can select mono or stereo for each sound and it has multi output routing that is much easier to use . Such a good workflow in so many aspects .beltrom wrote:Last night I downloaded Presonus Studio One and got it up and running. Damn that was easy! The few times I've checked out alternative DAWs (remember four occasions) I've been confused and after a while quite frustrated, and of course giving up. Each try has made me more reluctant to try something new, settling for that the learning path to a new DAW probably isn't worth it for me. Even if there has been some talk about how easy and intuitive Studio one is I was kind of not expecting that to apply to me (at least not fully) as I'm old and a bit set in my thinking. But it turned out to be a quick and pain free installation (even though my particular setup forced a couple of config changes from how it defaulted) and I was up and running getting tracks down within five minutes after installation. Almost weird and quite unexpected.

i've got the Found Percussion Bundle from ModeAudio. They are very generous and nice and gave access to a second file format.
Thank you very much to ModeAudio and to Luftrum for the titanic work, he did!

All arrived.. ..i feel like:

I haven't heard anything from HoRNet yet. I have transferred the money and there was only one HoRNet product in the auction.
