45GB are new. And most will be able to take advantage of crossgrade/upgrade pricing. If you don't like it, nobody is forcing you to buy it.

Does MP1 received as a freebie from a group-buy qualify for the $200 upgrade?

Congratulations to IK and the mighty Miroslav Ladislav Vitouš!

At least atm.. ..but they gonna "fix" it. Must be a hell of a bug for sure.. .. or maybe sabotage? :D

Stuff happens. Thanks for continuing to bump a product you don't want but care enough to snark about :) Much obliged. Conspiracy theories will only help take the interest through the roof so please do keep up with that too!

Is there any difference/advantage to using the MP2 vst/player vs using the full Sampletank 3 vst? Does the re-skinned ST3 have any extra technical differences?

Freebies/NFR do not count toward upgrade. If you are logged in, clicking any of the Buy Now buttons at http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/philharmonik2 should present you with the appropriate version based on what you have registered. If that is not the case, please do let me know.

It offers me the €199 price, but adding JPs gives me the standard 'you can't do this' message. I tried the crossgrade version to be sure, but it put the €199 upgrade price in my basket.

Oh, it's 64 bit, right? :D

Yeah, thanks… $300 for me.

Not really in the market... even at $200, though (that's not at all to say it isn't totally worth the full-boat price for someone that would use it a lot more than me).

On the other hand, can MP2 and upgrades/crossgrades be bought with credits?

At the risk of being seen as 'snarky', can I again ask if there will be a demo to test and see if it even works?
(Since only nine of IK's available 64 bit plugins work on my systems and the rest continue to crash on opening).

And chances are, I probably have moved on from buying anything more, but it still interests me.
MSO is the only one that could get me to at least give a demo a try.

Thought I caught that one and answered, why would that question be snarky? And I thought MY detector was faulty sometimes! I kid. But seriously, I'm not sure but will find out. At this point it is not typically done during the preorder period which is probably no surprise, but beyond that? I'll find out.

Well THAT'S good news, then! Do you want the JamPoints to work though? That's the headscratcher at the moment considering the bonus JamPoints do seem to have been placed correctly (fmr's situation being looked into but could be an exception), but that should be resolved soon. Since you may actually want it, I'll assume JamPoints are a yes too, so for you and everybody else mentioning it I'll reiterate and consolidate and other -ates by saying it is being looked into. I have provided as many details as possible, have also consulted the Support Manager on it so I'll let you know.

You can use either and have the same sound and functionality.

Yes you can purchase the upgrade/crossgrade (or full) versions of Miroslav Philharmonik 2 with Gear Credits in Custom Shop. You should be presented with the appropriate option based on what you already have registered once you click "Collections" in the SampleTank section of Custom Shop.

Yes :) 64-bit only. Your JamPoints issue referenced in a previous post. One of the ones not in a multiquote because we don't have it here at KVR as far as I can see and I didn't assemble a multiquote separately in a text editor or whatever...
